SUSSEX – With President Joe Biden visiting a manufacturing plant in Michigan, FOX Business traveled to Power Test in Wisconsin to ask about the impact of some of the President’s policies on manufacturers.
During Cavuto: Coast-to-Coast, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce Vice President of Communications Nick Novak spoke about the negative impacts of President Biden’s proposed tax increases and explained how the federal enhanced unemployment benefits are contributing to the workforce shortage.
“Wisconsin has reached a crisis level when it comes to the workforce shortage because there simply are not enough people to fill all the jobs we have open,” Novak said during the interview. “One of the big reasons, they’re saying, is because unemployment benefits that are coming from the federal level are a disincentive to work.”
